Saltgrass Steakhouse Copycat Green Bean Recipe Activation 32bit Utorrent File Pc Zip

I'm about to show you how to make my copycat green bean recipe, which I developed after trying the saltgrass steakhouse side dish on one of my many visits there. First, dump 1 stick of butter into a pot with 1 shallot (finely chopped), 1/4 cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons brown sugar (light or dark)—and boil it all until it becomes thick and syrupy. Stir in 3 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into uniform pieces. Saute the beans for 5 minutes over medium-high heat so they become soft but not mushy. Then pour in 1/4 cup water, cover and cook for 1 minute. Remove lid and toss (the beans should be coated with the syrup). Serve hot. Alright, let's start boiling some water. You can use a pot or a pan for this recipe. Since I have so much butter to cook, I'll be using a pot. I have one of those little thermometers which is great for telling whether or not the liquid has reached the right temperature for this recipe! Although it's not necessary to use one of these little gadgets, it does make things easier if you want to turn out perfectly cooked green beans every time. One stick of butter is enough for about 1 pound of fresh green beans. I'll add the second stick when the first has melted into a gooey mess. I've already washed my green beans and trimmed off their ends. It's hard to tell just how much green bean you're getting in this picture, but I estimate that I've already got about 3 or 4 pounds of green beans in the pot. Adding your oil at this point ensures that it will be perfectly heated so your beans don't get too soupy when you toss them with the pan juices later on . I've used a nice, shallot (it's a kind of onion, and it's mild and tasty) for this green bean recipe. When I make this recipe at home, I usually add some garlic--about 3 cloves should be enough for this recipe. After the butter has melted and started to bubble , it is time to add your ketchup and brown sugar . This is such an easy green beans recipe! Once that delicious little concoction has started to boil , it's time to add your green beans! Let these cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally . This is the perfect time to add your water! I cover my pot and let it cook for one minute. I've never used a pre-packaged "packaged" green bean salad mix before , but I do like the convenience of it. You can get these bags at Walmart or other grocery stores. They come with all the greens chopped up and ready to go, making this recipe easy and quick to prepare! The bag of green beans contained plenty of beans for this recipe. For good measure, I toss the green beans in the pan juices here! Hmmmm....delicious . It's not bad, but it's far from saltgrass steakhouse quality. cfa1e77820
